I am an artist born and raised within the great beauty that is Iowa. Stuck somewhere between the city, suburbs, and sprawling corn fields. Recently, I made the decision to move halfway across the country, making New York my new home.

 

My love for art began at a young age, and has only manifested itself since. I try not to limit my definition of art, as to allow it to become a part of everything I do. Whether that be a current painting project or my next costume for an upcoming anime convention. My work has become my journey to better understand myself and the world we inhabit.

 

Personal Artist Statement:

My work utilizes a variety of medias to represent the internalized version of myself. This consists of a balance between my fascinations of the morbid and playful, and snapshots of memories with their affixed emotions. These works are my attempt to externalize my struggles to better understand their existence.
